Thank you, Merida!!
Hello friends, it’s been a hot minute so I’m back for an update on my adventures in retirement. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I moved to the beautiful city of Merida and I can’t begin to tell you what an amazing year it has been. I’ve met some amazing people and have visited some beautiful places here in the Yucatan that I will cherish forever. This was the perfect place to begin this crazy journey of mine. There are so many people to thank for helping to make my first year out of the US so incredible but I would be remiss not to mention two of my dearest friends, Rick Murphy and John Devine and thank them for their love, friendship, inspiration and patience as I navigated the ins and outs of my new home this past year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you dearly!!!
As you all know, this is a journey, and a journey requires you to move forward. Today as I say so long to Merida, I say hello to Mexico City. When I came to the city for the first-time last December something inside of me told me I needed to be here, and so began the process of making that happen. If you have never been to Mexico City I promise, you will not be disappointed. I won’t get into the endless things you can do and the places you can visit while in CDMX but I promise to keep you updated as I explore and soak up the beauty of this amazing city and the surrounding area. I am so very excited about this next phase and I hope each and every one of you are enjoying your lives to the fullest. In this crazy world in which we all live, please remember to be kind, human, open and accepting. There should be no room in our hearts for hate. Until we chat again. Love to you ALL!!!
